Whisky Festival at Fegley's Brew Works Saturday

Sample 20 styles of whisky from four countries at Fegley's Brew Works in Allentown on Saturday.

Fegley’s Allentown Brew Works will hold its annual Whisky Festival from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets cost $45.

Twenty different styles of whisky from the United States, Canada, Ireland, and Scotland will be represented in the selection. Each year, the options and quality continue to increase, according to event organizers.

Owner Rich Fegley said, “At our heart, we are a local brewery promoting sustainable, award-winning craft beer. And while that will be represented, we wanted to branch out and offer a different type of festival. We can’t think of a better way to enjoy a cool October night than with a snifter of whisky, so we decided to start hosting an annual Whisky Festival.”

Along with a variety of whisky, Fegley’s is maintaining its roots by offering their own award-winning craft beers along with selections from Weyerbacher, New Holland, Anderson Valley, Susquehanna Brewing Co., Starr Hill, and Victory.

Executive Chef Mike Honeywell has crafted a menu with a Southern flair to compliment the flavor notes of the various whiskies being offered.  The menu includes a carving station, seafood, his award-winning pulled pork, and a flambé station for dessert.
