Bethlehem Schools Will Open with 2-Hour Delay Wednesday

Daycare centers will operate on a normal schedule; kindergarten will be modified.

The Bethlehem Area School District will open schools two hours late Wednesday as dangerously cold weather is expected to continue to grip the region overnight.

The two-hour delay will also affect the district’s SPARK early childhood education program, though all daycare centers will open at 7 a.m., according to the district’s Website.

Kindergarten classes will be run on a modified schedule, with a.m. pupils in class from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and p.m. students attending from 1:40 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
