B.Braun Buys 21.5 Acres, Will Move Bethlehem Headquarters

One of the city's largest employers buys land in from Lehigh University in Upper Saucon Township.

Bethlehem-based manufacturer B. Braun Medical Inc. announced Tuesday that it has bought 21.5 acres in Upper Saucon Township where it plans to build a new “state-of-the-art” headquarters campus.

Despite the planned headquarters move, the company said through a news release that it has no plans of abandoning its existing headquarters building on the West Side of Bethlehem at 12th Avenue off of W. Union Boulevard.

That building “has served B.Braun for over 50 years, and will remain operational for many years to come,” the news release said.
