I remember reading about a wedding as well as graduation parties that were ruined because there were so many of them everywhere all over the tents, tables, food, etc.

ReplyWe had them in our yard/trees many years ago too! I remember their sound was so loud that you could hear their buzzing even over the air conditioners that were in our windows - while sitting inside the house! It drove me crazy at first until I discovered what it was. "Loud" isn't the word for those critters when they're grouped together in such large numbers! On occassion, we would even get dive-bombed by them while walking through our yard under the trees. A part of me is actually excited to see them again, but the other part is thinking "be careful what you wish for!"

ReplyI think his parents made the smartest choice by deciding to homeschool him. Severe allergies are serious, and you never know when you will have a reaction while in public. Proper education in what to do when this happens is a must because he will most likely encounter this for the rest of his life.

ReplyLisa Boscola's bill sounds fair. I doubt business offices will follow the max bet amount, but that remains to be seen. Besides, law or no law, offices all over the country are going to continue their tradition no matter what anyway.

ReplyI, too, believe that we, as humans, should be able to decide our own fate when the time comes. This should be done while the person makes out their lving will and is of sane mind. I have watched quite a few of my family members, and more recently, a dear friend, suffer from cancer. It is extremely heart-wrenching.
My deepest sympathy goes out to the Osman family - you are all in my thoughts and prayers. -

ReplyI feel bad for the home owners - I wish them well and hope that they can return home soon without having to fork over a lot of money for structual damage repair. Sometimes, homeowners insurance does not always cover the claim depending on the situation. Hopefully, this is not the case...I wish them the best.

Best of luck to everyone who plays! I know the odds of winning are hideous, but it's fun to dream about it anyway so I think I'll buy a few tickets and try my luck.
