The owner told me that while there was no proceeds that went to any charity this year, he would be willing to have it go to a good cause in next year's event (since Phillips said it will be held annually).

Hi AV!
After speaking with an employee at EmbroidMe, I l found out that there was no specific fund set up for the t-shirts. The employee told me that he would have the owner call me back if there was anything else I should know about the sale of the t-shirts. So, if I learn anything else, I will let you know! -

Hi, Kim and Tricia. Thanks for your feedback! Along with Lemont fans, I felt bad for Hehir. However, as a journalist, my job is to display the facts as they happened, and not sugarcoat anything regardless of the level of play.
I agree with you both that football is a team sport, but in this case, one player's missed kicking attempts were the focal points of the game.
There is nothing in this article that is exaggerated or falsely represented. I stand by what I wrote, because if Hehir had made his kick with seconds left in regulation, my lede would have centered around him.
