Andrew's Beliefs

At Patch, we promise always to report the facts as objectively as possible and otherwise adhere to the principles of good journalism. However, we also acknowledge that true impartiality is impossible because human beings have beliefs. So in the spirit of simple honesty, our policy is to encourage our editors to reveal their beliefs to the extent they feel comfortable.

Politics

I have been a registered member of the Democratic and Republican party over the last few years. My political compass is always changing and I take ideas from anywhere and everywhere, applying them to my own. The candidates I most identify with are ones that put progress ahead of politics and can hold a rational argument without resorting to fallacies.

Religion

Faith is very important to me. I don't follow a particular religion and have a healthy respect for all of them. I identify with the humanitarian. Faith in religion is important, but I place my faith in humanity.

Local Hot-Button Issues

Currently, I live in Emmaus and as a journalist I try to keep up with the issues as best I can. I follow the Emmaus borough council meetings and watch for local issues that pop up.
