An 18-year-old Liberty High School senior has been charged with a felony sex crime for allegedly carrying on a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy who also goes to Liberty, according to court papers. Christopher Perez, 18, of 631 E. North St., allegedly exchanged nude pictures with the 13-year-old in September and the two teens made arrangements to meet for a tryst in October, according to the arrest warrant. According to the affidavit, Perez admitted to the relationship and sending the nude pictures. “He’s 13 years old. I felt it was going too far, but I never had feelings for another person like this,” Perez allegedly told Bethlehem police. Perez consented to a police search of the contents of his cell phone.
