Stripper's Death from Booze, Heroin Accidental, Coroner Says

26-year-old Amy Soule, who worked at Platinum Plus Gentleman's Club in Allentown, was found dead in Bethlehem Township home in December.

  An Allentown stripper who was found dead in a Bethlehem Township home in December died from the combined effects of heroin and alcohol intoxication, Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek said Wednesday. Lysek has ruled the death of 26-year-old Amy Soule accidental. Law enforcement authorities had initially labeled the death suspicious. Soule, who was employed at the Platinum Plus Gentleman’s Club on Airport Road, died on Dec. 5 in the master bedroom of 3920 Country Club Road, the home of Chad Michael Delp, 36, according to a search warrant executed at the scene. Police found Soule’s body nude, save for a pair of low-cut white socks. She was lying face down on top of the bed’s comforter and covered by a white blanket from the waist …

Victim of Accident at Train Yard Identified

Coroner determines death of 30-year-old Torren Kline of Bethlehem was accidental.

Northampton County Coroner Zach Lysek has identified 30-year-old Torren Kline as the victim of a deadly accident at the truck-train intermodal transfer station on former Bethlehem Steel land, according to published reports. Kline, who lived on the first block of E. Broad St., died of multiple blunt force trauma, according to Lysek, who ruled the death an accident, according to this story on the Lehigh Valley Live website. The Morning Call is reporting that Kline was an employee of ISA, a contractor that manages shipments and transfers at the railyard.

City Construction Inspector Dies in Accident

Al Calvo, 58, was checking a storm sewer connection when tragedy struck.

UPDATED: 8:11 p.m. A city construction inspector was killed today in a construction accident on Taylor Street in South Bethlehem, city officials said. Al Calvo, 58, was on the site inspecting a connection to the city’s storm water sewer system from Lehigh University’s Rauch Business Center on Taylor Street when the accident occurred, according to a news release issued by the mayor’s office. Joseph Kelly, the city's director of Community and Economic Development, said Calvo apparently fell into a hole on Taylor Street where Lehigh University was performing work that required it to tap into the city's storm sewer system. Boy, 16, Dead After Diving at Dutch Springs Saturday

Royersford teen was scuba diving with his father at the Lower Nazareth water adventure park.

A 16-year-old boy died Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg following an incident at Dutch Springs scuba diving and aqua park in Lower Nazareth Township. An autopsy was performed this morning on Kyle Kulp of Royersford. Kulp was diving with his father and a group, according to Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim. Grim said determination of the cause and manner of death is pending an investigation and toxicology test results. Dozens of friends are posting messages of condolence about Kyle on a Facebook page created in his memory. Funeral services for the teen are planned for Friday. This is the third death in five years stemming from a diving accident at Dutch Springs. Divers can descend as deep as 100 feet in the spring-fed quarry …
