Popular weekly spring concert series in Historic Downtown Bethlehem returns for seventh season on Thursday with Steve Brosky & Jimmy Meyer.
Popular local musicians Steve Brosky & Jimmy Meyer will open up the seventh season of the spring concert series Tunes at Twilight at the Sun Inn Courtyard on Thursday night at 6 p.m. Tunes at Twilight is a free, family-friendly event. The concerts, which take place every Thursday at 6 p.m. through the end of June, are free to the public and attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy them comfortably. Food will be available for purchase from several featured Historic Downtown restaurants as well as from the Sun Inn Preservation Association. Beer from Starr Hill Brewery, wine and mixed drinks will also be available for purchase at the Tunes at Twilight Bar. The 2013 schedule:

Christmas City Village, an open-air holiday market, opens today for its second season in Historic Downtown Bethlehem. The market is modeled on a German tradition known as a Weinachstmarkt (pronounced Vy-naukst-mart) and consists of 30 vendors selling handcrafted and unique items out of wooden huts, which were built by students at Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School. Most of the huts will be located near in the Sun Inn Courtyard, however, some will also be located farther south near the 1750 Smithy and the Historic Hotel Bethlehem. Christmas City Village is separate and distinct from Bethlehem's long-running Christkindlmarkt, which moved from under the Hill-to-Hill Bridge to the SouthSide SteelStacks campus in 2011. …
