Police: Bethlehem Home Invasion May Be Linked to Another Brazen Robbery
Authorities say violent Berwyn home invasion and armed robbery Thursday may be linked to similar home invasion in Bethlehem in December and Bixler's Jewelers robbery in South Whitehall.
Authorities are working to find four masked and armed gunmen who pulled off a brazen home invasion and double robbery Thursday in Berwyn and East Norriton -- a crime eerily similar to a Bethlehem home invasion in December and subsequent Bixler's Jewelers robbery in South Whitehall. On Thursday night, the owner of Shuler Jewelers in East Norriton and his wife were held up at gunpoint in their Berwyn home. The couple was bound with duct tape and the jewelry store owner was forced to take two of the gunmen to his store while his wife was held bound at gunpoint inside their home, according to a story on Tredyffrin-Easttown Patch.
