The Lehigh County monthly sheriff sale will be held Friday in Allentown
Dozens of properties are on the list for Friday's monthly Lehigh County Sheriff's sale. The list includes an opening bid and a total of back taxes owed on each property. Sales are held starting at 10 a.m. in Room 131 on the first floor of the Lehigh County Courthouse, Fifth and Hamilton Streets, Allentown. The sale is a public auction and buyers must bid for properties, which are not available for inspection prior to the sale. More information is available on Lehigh County's website.

I wonder, of the 200 properties up for auction how many were basically stolen from the homeowners because of the housing market crash. Predatory lenders flooded the market with deals that they new would turn people upside down in their mortgage when the bubble was going to burst.
