Country Star Sara Evans Coming to Sands

Country hit maker Sara Evans and comedian Anjelah Johnson have both been scheduled to appear this spring at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center, Vision Entertainment Group has announced. Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday and can be purchased at sandseventcenter.com, the Event Center box office, Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets or by phone at 800-745-3000. Evans is scheduled to appear at the Event Center on Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. in support of her newest album, “Stronger,” her first in six years. Despite the recoding hiatus, Evans continued to tour and maintain close contact with her active fan base. She became an author, publishing two novels — The Sweet By and By and Softly and Tenderly.
