The Lehigh County coroner is seeking next of kin of a Bethlehem man who died Thursday at St. Luke's University Hospital-Fountain Hill. Robert Felker, 70, of 728 New St. died of natural causes. Anyone with information about him or his family is asked to call 610-782-3426.

The death of a 2-month-old South Bethlehem infant early Saturday morning is being investigated by authorities, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. Ariyha Brown of 1014 Evans St. died at 3:45 a.m. in the emergency room of St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill, the coroner said. An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday. The death is being investigated by the coroner, the Bethlehem Police Department and the Northampton County District Attorney.

The identity of a woman whose body was found burning last month in Salisbury Township was confirmed today through DNA testing, according to Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim. She is Jennifer Velez-Negron, 26, of Reading, Grim said. Investigators received clues after they released a detailed description of the body a day after it was found burning on Dec. 27 in a wooded residential area behind the Unami Fish and Game Association, 75 Chestnut Hill Road. Velez-Negron, who died from suffocation and thermal injuries, was burned beyond recognition but some distinguishing characteristics were discovered during the autopsy. The identity of Jane Doe, the woman found suffocated and burned to death Dec. 27 on a wooded residential road in Salisbury Township, could soon be confirmed, according to Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim. Grim said his office is waiting to get DNA results, which could be later this week or next. A 96-year-old Bethlehem man died of multiple injuries after he was struck by a motor vehicle on Main Street Wednesday night, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s office. Joseph Dabrowski, who lived in the senior citizens high-rise apartments at 645 Main St., was hit at the intersection of Main and Raspberry streets a little before 8 p.m., the coroner said. He was pronounced dead a half-hour later at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill. Dabrowski was a carpenter who emigrated from Poland after World War II, according to The Express-Times. He survived capture by Germans during the war while he fought for his native country. Bethlehem Police are investigating the incident.

A body found burning near Unami Fish and Game Club off Chestnut Hill Road in Salisbury Township Thursday morning was a white or light-skinned Hispanic woman age 20 to 40, according to the Lehigh County coroner. An autopsy will be performed Friday to determine the exact cause of death. The woman's identity will be revealed once investigators know for sure who she was and notify her next of kin. Emergency responders were called to the scene around 9:30 a.m. when a resident driving on Chestnut Hill Road saw something burning near the Unami Fish and Game Club in Salisbury Township not far from the Emmaus border. Anyone with information about the relatives of Raymond Rudd, Sr. -- a 52-year-old Allentown man who died Saturday -- is asked to contact the Lehigh County coroner's office at 610-782-3426. Rudd died at Sacred Heart Hospital. He lived at 122 N. 11th Street in Allentown. An autopsy was performed Monday but cause of death is pending results of toxicology tests, according to the coroner's office.

Police are investigating the "suspicious' death of a 5-year-old Allentown boy who died Friday
Police are investigating the death of an Allentown child found unresponsive in his home Thursday night. Cashmiere Hill, 5, of 107 N. 12th St., was not breathing so his mother called 911 about 9 p.m. Thursday. He was pronounced dead at 2:31 a.m. Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital. An autopsy was performed Friday morning but the Lehigh County coroner's office issued a statement saying the boy's cause and manner of death are pending further investigation. The death is being termed "suspicious." The coroner's office and Allentown police are investigating, with assistance from the Lehigh County district attorney.
