The first 3,000 fans 18 and older will receive a fleece blanket presented by Service Electric Cable TV & Communications as part of the opening night festivities on Thursday, April 4 at Coca-Cola Park. The 2013 Lehigh Valley IronPigs season starts at 7:05 p.m. against the Syracuse Chiefs with all gates opening extra early at 5 p.m. for a pre-game happy hour featuring $1 hot dogs and $2 domestic drafts until 6 p.m. Butch Patrick, who starred as Eddie Munster on the hit 1960s TV show "The Munsters," will throw out the season's ceremonial first pitch. Get a sneak peek at the top prospects in the Phillies organization when the Lehigh Valley IronPigs host the Double-A Reading Fightin Phils in the sixth annual U.S. 222 Showcase exhibition game at Coca-Cola Park on Tuesday, April 2. Game time is 6:35 p.m. with all gates opening at 5:30 p.m. to kick off the 2013 season. Parking is free for this event. All tickets to the 222 Showcase will be General Admission, granting fans access to the Field Level seating bowl on a first-come, first-served basis. The IronPigs 2013 spring schedule gets under way March 12 against Buffalo at the Carpenter Complex in Clearwater, Fla. Overall, the IronPigs will play 15 games this spring. Seven of the 15 games will be played at the Carpenter Complex next to Brighthouse Field, the spring home of the Phillies. Admission to the minor league complex is free. For the first time ever, IronPigs fans are invited to attend and root on their favorite singers during National Anthem auditions on Saturday, Feb. 16, on the Club Level at Coca-Cola Park. Auditions will begin at 10 a.m. For the sixth consecutive season, Allied Personnel Services is the presenting sponsor of the National Anthem for IronPigs games at Coca-Cola Park. The IronPigs are seeking to hire their first-ever class of Ball Girls, presented by East Penn Foot & Ankle, to perform duties on-field during every IronPigs home game as well as represent the organization in the community on various appearances. The Ball Girls will serve as ambassadors for the club both on and off the field and are expected to set a positive example to young girls that have an interest in professional sports. The Iron Pigs' 2013 Job Fair will be held on Saturday, January 19 at Coca-Cola Park starting promptly at 10 a.m. The Iron Pigs are seeking game day employees for the 2013 season in a number of areas including: ushers, Kids Zone area employees, hospitality servers, food/beverage vendors, concession stand attendants, warehouse workers, housekeeping, prep cooks, line cooks, dish washers and more. Also, Dorney Park is hiring 2,500 people for its May 2013 opening Those seeking to be a part of the IronPigs Game Day staff must be available to work nights and weekends beginning in April thru early September.
