Police: Car Hits House on Johnston Drive

Driver loses control of car, crosses 3 front yards before hitting enclosed front porch of Johnston Drive home. Injuries to passengers are minor, police say.

  Three adults and a child suffered minor injuries when the car they were in struck a house along Johnston Drive Sunday afternoon, Bethlehem Police said. The incident occurred about 3 p.m. when the female driver, who police did not identify, lost control of her car, which went off the road and through three yards before striking the enclosed front porch of 510 Johnston Drive, police said. The home residents were not injured, police said. After the crash, the driver was able to get out of the car and remove a small child who was in the back seat with his mother, police said. They suffered cuts and scrapes and were taken to St. Luke’s University Hospital for further evaluation, police said. An adult male passenger in the car needed …
