A man allegedly pointed a handgun at a woman outside a downtown Bethlehem nightclub during a fight between two groups early Saturday. The man “then pulled the slide back in a manner which indicated to her that the handgun was being loaded,” a criminal complaint says. The man, Hector Manuel Padilla of Allentown, did not fire the weapon but was charged in the incident outside the 40 Below Nightclub & Lounge and wound up in Northampton County Prison. A SouthSide man who pleaded guilty to robbery in 2009 sold crack cocaine on three occasions to a confidential informant and also sold an informant a gun linked to a Slatington theft, according to court records. Jamardee Tamica Perez, 25, of the 1800 block of Lynfield Drive was charged with possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine; manufacture, delivering and possession; receiving stolen property; persons not to possess firearms; sale or transfer of firearms, and criminal use of a common facility. The records say Perez: He also allegedly used a cell phone to arrange the transactions. The records do not list how much money he received for the crack and the gun.
