Man Killed in Route 22 Crash Sunday

A 24-year-old Bushkill Township man was killed early Sunday when his car crashed on Route 22 in Bethlehem.

Joshua R. Kortze, 24, of 538 Roberts Road, Bushkill Township was killed early Sunday when his car crashed on Route 22 in Bethlehem, according to the Lehigh County Coroner. Kortze was driving east on 22 from the Route 378 north ramp at 3:35 a.m. His death was a result of blunt force trauma and has been ruled an accident. He was pronounced dead at 4:17 a.m. Sunday at St. Luke's University Hospital, Fountain Hill. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the accident.

Nazareth Woman Behind Wheel of Fatal One-Car Crash at Bus Stop

Two pedestrians were killed when Caitlyn Clark, 26, of Nazareth lost control of her SUV Monday afternoon and crashed into a LANTA bus stop in Hanover Township, Lehigh County.

A Nazareth woman was behind the wheel of a sport-utility vehicle that careened into a bus stop -- killing two pedestrians -- in Hanover Township, Lehigh County, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Angel Bosch, 28, of Easton, died at a hospital after the 3:26 p.m. crash near the Lehigh Valley International Airport, according to a report in The Express-Times. Elias Tabarani, 51, of Allentown, was pronounced dead at the scene. 88-Year-Old Bethlehem Woman Killed in Crash

Gertrude Babin of Arlington Street is one of two who died as a result of two-vehicle crash in Lower Nazareth Township this morning.

  An 88-year-old Bethlehem woman was one of two people killed in a two-vehicle crash that took place this morning along Hanoverville Road in Lower Nazareth Township, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s office. Gertrude M. Babin of 1913 Arlington St. was pronounced dead at 10:16 a.m. in the emergency room of St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill, according to a coroner’s news release. A second person killed as a result of the collision and rollover accident in front of 4519 Hanoverville Road has not been identified.
