Olympic Gold Medalist to Sign Books at Velodrome
Lehigh Valley's own Marty Nothstein will discuss his Olympic experience and sign copies of his new book at Lehigh Valley Velodrome event on Friday.
With two weeks to go until the 2012 Olympics begin, Marty Nothstein will discuss his hard-fought road to an Olympic cycling gold medal and the Moravian Book Shop will be on hand to sell copies of his new book at a special event at the Lehigh Valley Velodrome in Breinigsville Friday night. Rodale published the Emmaus native’s Olympic memoir, The Price of Gold: The Toll and Triumph of One Man's Olympic Dream, last month. In the book, Nothstein writes about his journey to gold at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia. At Atlanta, in 1996, Nothstein won the silver medal, losing the gold by a hair at the championship race and vowed to come back to win a gold medal.
