Woman Had Crack in Bra, Cash in Panties, Police Say

Wilson borough woman faces drug charges after making alleged drug sale at Bethlehem Township shopping center, according to arrest affidavit.

  A Wilson borough woman allegedly sold crack cocaine to a confidential police informant Tuesday afternoon at the T.G.I. Friday’s restaurant in the Southmont Shopping Center, Bethlehem Township police said. Antoinette Desiree Motley, 24, of 900 S. 24th St., was the target of an investigation of township and Freemansburg borough police, which arranged for the meeting between the accused and the confidential informant, according to the arrest affidavit. Police officers stopped Motley in her car not long after the alleged drug transaction and took her into custody, the affidavit says. Cops: Mom Brought Kids to Buy Crack in Bethlehem

Allentown woman had her two children with her as she bought crack cocaine from a 'known drug dealer' in West Bethlehem, city police allege.

  An Allentown woman had her two children with her when she drove to West Bethlehem to get crack cocaine from a drug dealer, city police allege in an arrest warrant executed on Tuesday, more than two years after the alleged buy. Jennifer B. Stewart, 41, of 209 W. Tilghman St., Allentown, was charged with possession of crack cocaine, intentionally purchasing crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of endangering the welfare of children. The alleged crack purchase took place June 11, 2010. It was unclear from the affidavit of probable cause why Stewart was not brought into custody until Tuesday. Alleged Crack Dealer Tried to Run From Police

Locust Street man ran away while vice unit officers searched his home, allegedly finding crack, packaging material and a handgun.

  A Bethlehem man was jailed Wednesday on drug charges after city police served a search warrant on his house. Gregory Fluker, 36, was at home Wednesday afternoon when officers from the department's special operations/vice unit came to serve the search warrant. Police say Fluker fled out the back door of his home at 530 E. Locust St., but was apprehended a few blocks away. According to court records, officers saw Fluker throw a bag of crack onto the ground just before his arrest. Inside Fluker's home, police found more crack, plus materials for packaging the drug, some marijuana, and a .357 handgun. Bethlehem Police obtain arrest warrant for man who allegedly sold drugs from E. Union Boulevard apartment.

  Bethlehem police on Tuesday obtained an arrest warrant for a suspected drug dealer who has allegedly been operating out of an apartment just east of the downtown, according to court papers. Charges against John E. Scipio of 113 E. Union Blvd. were filed after three confidential informant drug buys over the last three months and a search of his third-floor apartment Tuesday afternoon, the arrest affidavit says. In the raid, police found crack cocaine, marijuana, digital scales and packaging materials, court papers say. The warrant says the Bethlehem Police Department’s Vice Unit began investigating Scipio and the sale of crack cocaine from his apartment in August. Police: 20 Packs of Crack Pinned to Underwear

Bethlehem man had 20 packets of crack cocaine attached to his underwear with a safety pin, state troopers say.

  State police went to a Williams Township gun store/shooting range Wednesday afternoon as part of an investigation into a wanted person attempting to buy a firearm. They made an arrest, but the charges ended up having to do with drugs. They say Curtis Jamar Brown, 32, of Bethlehem had 20 packets of crack cocaine in a plastic bag that was attached to his underwear with a safety pin. They also say Brown lied about his identity, and they discovered he was arrested by Plainfield, N.J., police for alleged felony drug and weapons violations, court records say. Police: City Man Sold Drugs to Undercover Cop

Alleged crack dealer met with undercover officer in the parking lot of Newburg Inn in Lower Nazareth Township in January.

  A Bethlehem man is charged with selling crack cocaine to an undercover police officer in the parking lot of The Newburg Inn in Lower Nazareth Township, according to court records. Juan Virgilio, 24, of 51 W. Spruce St., allegedly made the sale to an undercover officer on the evening of January 5, the arrest warrant says. Virgilio was arrested and arraigned on drug charges on Sunday night before he was committed to Northampton County Prison. It's good to see drug dealers off the streets, but what does this really accomplish in the long run? People are going to keep selling drugs illegally as long as it's profitable to do so...the only way to stop this is to decriminalize these substances. People are squeamish about the idea of drugs being sold legally, but we'd all be a lot safer if drug dealers didn't have such an enormous incentive…   more ›

SouthSide Man Charged with Selling Crack, Gun

Police say Jamardee Perez sold crack cocaine and a handgun to confidential informants.

  A SouthSide man who pleaded guilty to robbery in 2009 sold crack cocaine on three occasions to a confidential informant and also sold an informant a gun linked to a Slatington theft, according to court records. Jamardee Tamica Perez, 25, of the 1800 block of Lynfield Drive was charged with possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine; manufacture, delivering and possession; receiving stolen property; persons not to possess firearms; sale or transfer of firearms, and criminal use of a common facility. The records say Perez: He also allegedly used a cell phone to arrange the transactions. The records do not list how much money he received for the crack and the gun. Police: Denied Money for Crack, Man Stole Cell Phone

City man's girlfriend refused to give him $30 to buy crack, so he allegedly stole her phone.

  Angered when his girlfriend refused to give him $30 to buy crack cocaine, a Bethlehem man allegedly threw her down on her couch and stole her touch screen cell phone, according to court records. The alleged incident took place on February 21 while Michael Negron, 27, was visiting his girlfriend at her home on the 1300 block of Fairmount St., the arrest affidavit said. Negron was picked up and arraigned Thursday on charges of theft and harassment before District Judge Patricia Romig-Passaro. He was committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Brothers Charged with Intent to Sell Crack

Police found 26 baggies filled with crack cocaine in glove box on Hess Street.

Two brothers were arrested for possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine and another drug after Bethlehem police found 26 bags of the illicit drug in the glove box of the vehicle they were in on Thursday evening. Police made contact with Jean Rodriguez-Ortiz, 20, of 435 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall Township, and Kevin J. Rodriguez-Ortiz, 18, of 637 N. 10th St., Allentown, as they were sitting inside a parked car on the 500 block of Hess Street. According to the arrest warrant, the vehicle was parked at an angle, with the right rear out in the roadway creating a hazard.
