Pets in Need of Homes

Pets in Need of Homes: Achilles and Ra

These and many other pets are awaiting adoption at the Center for Animal Health and Welfare in Williams Township.

ACHILLES Achilles is a handsome, big-headed hunk of American pit bull terrier. He is new to the shelter, but is quickly becoming a favorite among those who meet him. He has decent leash manners, knows some basic commands, and loves to run and play in the yard. Achilles can get pretty excited when playing, so he would acclimate best to a home without anyone very young or very old in it. Come meet him yourself and see what you think! Visit the center's website or call (610) 252-7722 for more information about adopting a shelter pet. WeeGee WeeGee is a pretty, gray-and-white domestic shorthair cat. She came to us sick and weak as a stray in early 2011. She is now happy, healthy and ready for a new loving home now. WeeGee is declawed, social, friendly and ready to go! Ozzie Ozzie, a sweet black-and-white Boston Terrier, had a home but his owner no longer had time to care for him. He is calm, enjoys being out for walks, doesn't mind being handled and would appreciate a loving, new home soon.
