Sands Casino Has Most Played Table Games in State
Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reports that Sands table games gross revenue increased by $54 million in the past year.
The Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem has been the most popular destination for table games among Pennsylvania casinos in the past year, according to the state Gaming Control Board. The Sands took in $127.8 million in gross revenue from its 152 tables from July 2011 through the end of June – nearly $11 million more than the Parx Casino in Bensalem, which has 182 tables, the most in the state. Table games revenue at the Sands increased by more than $54 million – or 47 percent, over the $73.1 million in table games revenue in the previous fiscal year, according to figures released Tuesday by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
