Buddy Guy, Boyz II Men Coming to Sands
Chicago blues legend, Rock n' Roll Hall of Famer Guy and Philadelphia R&B hit-makers Boys II Men are booked to play at Sands Event Center. Tickets on sale Friday.
Blues legend and Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famer Buddy Guy and Philadelphia 90s R&B hit-makers Boyz II Men are the latest acts to be booked to play at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center. Guy, 74, is a pioneer of the Chicago electric blues sound and one of the most influential guitar players in rock n’ roll history. Echoes of Guy’s style can be heard in the music of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jonny Lang, who will share the Sands stage with Guy on September 7. Lang, 31, might best be known for his 1997 hit "Lie to Me," and has been a member of the “Experience Hendrix” Tour, which pays tribute to the rock legend.
