Snow Emergency Declared in Bethlehem

Police urge residents to obey snow emergency signs and move cars from emergency routes; free parking available in city garages.

The city of Bethlehem has declared a snow emergency beginning at 7 p.m. tonight, Tuesday.

During a snow emergency, snow emergency routes in the city have restricted parking on one side of the street that alternates every day of the emergency.

All vehicles parking on snow emergency routes must obey the posted snow emergency signs for that street or their vehicle will be ticketed and the vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense, police say.  City parking garages are available for free parking for the duration of the snow emergency.
