Burger Chain Helping Slain Officer's Family

Area Five Guys Burgers and Fries will donate all of today's profits to kin of Robert Lasso.

Chain restaurant Five Guys Burgers and Fries is donating 100 percent of its profits earned today at area restaurants to the family of slain Freemansburg police officer Robert Lasso, WFMZ-TV, Channel 69, is reporting on its website.

Lasso responding to a call on August 11. George Hitcho Jr. has been charged with the killing.

Three Lehigh Valley Five Guys restaurants in Hanover Township, Lehigh County, Allentown and Lower Nazareth Township are among those participating in the fundraiser:
