ArtsQuest offering special discounts on tickets for upcoming shows and merchandise, while also offering free music and a great view of the fireworks show.

That is the invitation ArtsQuest is extending to anyone still lacking in holiday plans today.

The nonprofit arts organization will be having a special three-hour ticket sale from 3 to 6 p.m., which will allow you to get discount or buy one, get one ticket offers on 35 upcoming Musikfest and Musikfest Café shows.

The special sale will also include discounts on Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas film tickets, comedy performance tickets and up to 25 percent off of all merchandise at the ArtsQuest Center’s Stacks Shop.

“Almost all of our upcoming performances are included in this special sale, so if you’ve been waiting to buy tickets to a show, now’s the time to do so,” says ArtsQuest Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations Curt Mosel. “There are some amazing offers that people simply won’t believe, but the only way to take advantage of them is to stop by the ArtsQuest Center on July 4th.”

The big ticket sale won’t be the only reason to stop by today. There will be free music all day there starting at 4 p.m.

The James Supra Blues Band hits the TD Bank Community stage from 4 to 7 p.m. Then the Allentown Band will play all your patriotic favorites at the starting at 8 p.m. The great July 4 fireworks show over the Lehigh River will follow the Allentown Band performance.

And if all that isn’t enough, the Billy Bauer Band will play at the TD Bank Community stage from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m. in another free performance.

During the July 4 sale, patrons will be able to enjoy great deals such as Buy One Get One Free (BOGO) ticket offers on select Musikfest Sands Steel Stage and Musikfest Café concerts, as well as BOGOs on Blast Furnace Blues Festival passes for Sept. 14 and 16. In addition, service fees will be waived for other performances.

Just a few of the special promotions include BOGO offers on the John Mayall, Little River Band and Patton Oswalt shows at the Musikfest Café, as well as the Daughtry and concerts at Musikfest.

Offers are limited for most shows and based on ticket availability at time of purchase. Fans hoping to take advantage of the BOGO specials are encourage to arrive early, since some shows such as Sheryl Crow, Daughtry and Boston at Musikfest, as well as Patton Oswalt, Pat Metheny, Justin Townes Earle and Jars of Clay at the Musikfest Café, have only 20 tickets available as part of this special promotion.

The July 4th ticket sale at SteelStacks gets underway with a special ArtsQuest Members-only sale from 3-4 p.m., followed by the public sale from 4-6 p.m. Purchases must be made at the ArtsQuest Center, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem.
