Viewfinder: National Pig Day

Fans flooded Coca-Cola Park for family festivities and a head start on game tickets

The Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs celebrated National Pig Day on Saturday, giving fans a taste of spring and a head start on the 2011 baseball season.

Hundreds of people filled the stadium, some carrying the free yard signs which were being handed out while supplies lasted. Tickets for upcoming games were sold at the ticket windows creating a line that continued along the front of the stadium for most of the day.

Free pork BBQ, hot dogs and beverages were available, while the Iron Pigs' mascots, Ferrous and FeFe greeted guests. Later, Diggity, Chris P. Bacon and Hambone were also there.
