Today is the first day that the public can watch the pros for the 16th year at Lehigh University's Goodman Campus. Eagles training camp opens at 8 a.m. with all the usual fanfare and fun - banners, cheerleaders, autograph tent and tailgating.
Meanwhile, Eagles Youth Football Camp held at gave boys ages six through 14 a chance to learn the game of football and develop skills in a non-contact environment.
This week, campers had an opportunity to meet an Eagles hero. Former Eagles wide receiver Ben Hawkins who played on the team from 1966-1973 met with the boys and signed autographs.
