Liberty Wins Eastern Conference Title

Liberty's Hurricanes beat Whitehall Zepyhrs 42-35 for the Eastern Conference Division 4 championship.

The Hurricanes grabbed the Eastern Conference Division 4 title Friday night from Whitehall in a 42-35 nail biter.

Liberty (8-4) for the regular season was put out of the District 2-4-11 subregional tournament last week, . The next week, Easton Area High School took Freedom out of the running too.

But Liberty bounced back as the Eastern Conference Champs.
