10th Anniversary Party at the Bethlehem Farmers' Market

The Bethlehem Farmers’ Market at Campus Square is turning 10!  In celebration, we are holding an anniversary party on Thursday, June 14th from 11am-3pm. There will be face painting for children, live music courtesy of Billy Bauer from 12-2pm and a raffle beginning at noon, with winners announced at 12:45.

 

The raffle grand prize is a gift basket full of exceptional goods from market vendors and second place prize is a $10 coupon to the market. Additionally, 5 more lucky winners will receive an official Bethlehem Farmers’ Market t-shirt.

While waiting for the raffle results, market goers can sit back, enjoy the music and grab something to eat.  Lunch vendors include The Island Taste (Caribbean food), M&B Farview Farms (meat sandwiches & sausages), Wrap’d Tight (fresh and local wraps), and our newest vendor, The Lodge Café (fresh and varied food each week). Also, don’t forget to stock up on your weekly produce, snacks, and other local goods from our unique selection of vendors.

This year’s expanded market features 18 vendors, including vendors along the Campus Square stairs in addition to the usual spots around the Square.  This year’s new vendors expanding the market’s variety include Apple Ridge Farm (sourdough bakery, pizza shells), Hereford Country Store (lunch tarts), M&B Fairview Farm (meat), Sweet Love (cupcakes), Joe Paws Bakery (dog treats), Wrap’d Tight (wraps & salads) and Earth’s Phocas (flowers).  Returning vendors are Easton Salsa Co., The Popcorn Pit, A Natural Alternative (soaps and toiletries), Back Door Bakeshop, Humdinger Alpacas (wool products), Tasty Pastry, Bechdolt Orchards (produce), Quetzal Bakery, Island Taste (Caribbean lunch food) and York Moor Farm (eggs). 

 

The Bethlehem Farmers’ Market supports farming and business in the Lehigh Valley and serves both the local and Lehigh University communities.  Some vendors accept FMNP vouchers and EBT coupons.  Metered parking is available the Campus Square parking garage and along Morton and 4th streets.   For more information, please visit www.campussquare.net or www.facebook.com/campussquare.
