The Moravian College baseball team advanced to the championship round of the Division III Landmark Conference tournament with a 10-3 win over the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Bethlehem on Sunday.
If the Greyhounds can beat Drew University twice today, it will win the tournament and an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III championship tournament in Appleton, Wisc. at the end of May.
The teams meet this morning at 11 a.m. at Gillespie Field on Center Street. , which had the best record in the Landmark Conference during the regular season, is hosting the tournament.
Drew, which beat Moravian in extra innings Saturday, needs one win to clinch the conference title. If the Greyhounds win, the teams will play a second game to determine the conference champion.
