Liberty High School Holding Alumni Day

The following was provided to Patch by Liberty High School:

Liberty High School would like to invite all members of the community and especially LHS Alumni to attend the 2nd annual LHS Alumni Day: Past, Present and Future, to be held Saturday, May 3rd , 2014, on the Liberty High School Campus.

This day will serve multiple purposes, forging fresh bonds between alumni and Liberty High School. During Liberty’s 2nd Annual Alumni Day, we will celebrate all that is Liberty, its alumni, and the ties between Bethlehem and Liberty High School.

LHS Alumni are invited to attend an Alumni Luncheon, tour the LHS Campus, learn about the clubs and activities Liberty students enjoy and see performances of the LHS Grenadier Band, the Alumni Band, and attend the free Orchestra Pops Concert at 3:00 pm. Pittsburgh Panther Wide Receiver and  Liberty Alumnus Devin Street will be keynote speaker.

One of the goals of LHS Alumni Day: Past, Present and Future is to establish significant connections with our alumni – creating student internships, partnerships, as well as creating community awareness of the new Liberty High School Library Information Center.

All are invited to congratulate the graduating Class of 2014 and take the opportunity to thank them and celebrate their achievements and contributions to Liberty and the community.

On the 2nd Annual Alumni Day the traditional “Passing of the Bell” ceremony will take place at 6:15.  Graduating seniors will welcome incoming 9th graders to their new school and encourage the incoming freshman class to take advantage of all of the wonderful programs and activities Liberty High School offers its students.

Finally, the day will conclude with a community fair and bonfire, and live musical entertainment.
