Bedtime Reading Touted at Lincoln Elementary

Pajamas were in fashion for teachers, parents and kids at "Bed, Book and Beyond."

Attending students received free books, and popcorn, pizza and other refreshments were served as families made themselves comfortable, lounging on Lincoln's gym floor.

“It's just really wonderful to see how engaged they are,” said Beverly Bradley, president of the Cops 'n' Kids children's literacy program, as she watched the young students pore over their bounty.
