Pa. GOP Re-Elects Chairman Rob Gleason

Pa. GOP chairman says party is strong, united and has "renewed energy" to deliver victories in 2013 and 2014

HARRISBURG, PA – Today at the annual Winter Meeting of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, state party members overwhelmingly voted to re-elect Chairman Rob Gleason, Vice-Chairwoman Joyce Haas, Secretary John McNally, Treasurer Carolyn “Bunny” Welsh and Assistant Secretary Peg Ferraro to another term.

Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement:

“I am humbled to have earned the trust and support of our members and am honored to serve another four years as the Chairman of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania with Vice Chair Joyce Haas and the rest of our leadership team.  This exciting weekend has provided us with an opportunity to discuss our Party’s future growth and success, and as we leave Harrisburg today united and strong, we do so with a renewed energy to deliver Republican victories in 2013 and 2014,” Chairman Rob Gleason said.

“As a part of that goal, today I am announcing the formation of the PA GOP Advisory Group in Support of the Governor’s Agenda.  Governor Corbett’s bold, pro-growth and pro-jobs agenda has put our Commonwealth on the path towards lasting prosperity and our team will spend the next two years ensuring Pennsylvania voters understand how successful he has been.  This team will lead our party’s grassroots efforts to support Governor Corbett and Lieutenant Governor Cawley’s key policy initiatives, beginning with their bold proposal to get Pennsylvania out of the liquor business once and for all. I look forward to working with this new advisory group and our entire state party to get the job done.”
