Bethlehem Snow Emergency Lifting at 3 P.M.

Emergency routes have been cleared curb to curb, but road plowing and treating efforts continue throughout city.

Bethlehem’s snow emergency is lifting at 3 p.m. today (Wednesday) city officials said.

With the lifting of the emergency, vehicles may be legally parked along snow emergency routes after 3 p.m.

The snow emergency routes have been cleared from curb-to-curb by city crews on round-the-clock operations since Tuesday, city officials said.

Crews had plowed and treated all the main roads and plowed all secondary streets by daybreak, officials said. 

City crews will continue to plow side streets, re-plow streets where snow has been thrown back into streets, plow alleys and other thoroughfares throughout the city.
