Anti-Wall Street Demonstration Coming to Lehigh Valley

Occupy Together plans noon rally in Allentown on Monday

The Occupy Together movement will come to the Lehigh Valley with a noon rally scheduled for 7th and Hamilton streets in Allentown on Monday.

Occupy Together is a spin-off of the Occupy Wall Street protest. More than 700 anti-Wall Street protestors were arrested Saturday when they tried to cross the Brooklyn Bridge.

Occupy Together is a national effort to mobilize "99% [to] take action against the greed and corruption of the 1%," according to the movement's website. About 30 people have committed to attend the Allentown rally, according to the Occupy Allentown Facebook page.
