Woman Thrown Through Window, Police Say

Carlos Lopez accused of assaulting woman during an altercation on Ontario Street in Bethlehem Thursday.

Bethlehem police say a city man beat a woman and threw her through a window Thursday afternoon.

Carlos Lopez, 22, of the 600 block of Fiot Street, is charged with aggravated and simple assault, and reckless endangerment. 

According to police, Lopez attacked the woman around 3:41 p.m. in the 300 block of Ontario Street, punching and kicking her before slamming her head against a pick-up truck and throwing her through a window. 

In addition to the assault charges, he is also charged with making terroristic threats, criminal mischief, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Lopez was arraigned before on duty District Judge Ray Manwaring, and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
