Woman Screams, Threatens, Throws Baked Goods, Police Say
City woman threatened to burn and kill cop at station after she was arrested for tirade at 7-Eleven, police say.
A Bethlehem woman walked into a 7-Eleven, screamed at a patron she didn’t know, threw cookies and brownies at a store clerk when she was asked to leave and—after she was arrested—threatened to burn a police officer with a hot iron, according to court papers.
The alleged Saturday night tirade by Michelle Flaska, 27, of 42 E. Union Blvd., was recorded in an arrest affidavit that charged her with two counts of terroristic threats and one count each of harassment and disorderly conduct.
The incident occurred at a little after 7 p.m. at the 7-Eleven at 101 E. Broad St., at the corner of Center Street.

According to the affidavit, both the store patron and clerk told the police the following:
- Flaska walked in and started screaming and cursing at the patron. The clerk asked the patron if he knew Flaska and he did not. The clerk then asked Flaska to leave. Flaska responded by throwing cookies, brownies and also a heavy hand-held scanner stand.
- Flaska left and the clerk went to the door to hold it closed until police arrived. Flaska tried to get back in and threatened to kill the clerk if she did not allow her to come back inside.
Police soon arrested Flaska as she walked east on E. Raspberry Street blocks away, the affidavit said.

While at police headquarters, Flaska “made numerous threats to kill” Bethlehem Police Officer Stephanie Molnar, according to the affidavit.
“She further stated that she was going to burn … Molnar with a hot iron and watch her bleed,” the affidavit said.
At this point, Flaska stood up and tried to charge at Molnar, but another officer stood in her way and held her back, police said.
Flaska was arraigned before on-duty District Judge Joseph Barner of Lower Nazareth Township and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $3,500 bail.
