A city woman is accused of hitting her sister three times on the knee with a frying pan, then threatening to kill her, a man and their dog.

Court records say the incident involving Anna Lea Lawson, 39, occurred around 6 p.m. Monday on the 800 block of Linden Street.

Lawson lives at 420 Hickory St., court records say.

City Officer James Joniec writes in a criminal complaint that when he arrived at the Linden Street residence, the sister said Lawson hit her with the pan in the left knee, leaving a bruise.

The sister said that when she called police, Lawson threatened to kill her, a man with her and their dog, the complaint says.

A person identified as a “juvenile witness” confirmed what the sister and the man told the officer, the complaint says.

Lawson was charged with two counts of terroristic threats, three counts of harassment and one count of simple assault.

She was arraigned later Monday by on-duty District Judge John Capobianco of Nazareth and released on $7,500 unsecured bail.
