Woman Assaulted, Robbed in Her Own Apartment: Police

Cash, jewelry taken after victim said she was pepper-sprayed and hit with a vase, police say.

A woman was assaulted and robbed of cash and jewelry in her West Bethlehem apartment on Saturday afternoon, according to city police.

The assault and robbery took place at the Landings apartments on Valley Park South at about 4:30 p.m., police said.

The woman said she allowed her assailant—another woman she didn’t know—into the apartment because she said she was having car trouble, according to The Express Times.
