West Side Man Facing Multiple Drug Charges

A West Bethlehem man is facing multiple drug charges for allegedly selling heroin to an undercover police officer three times last summer, twice at a fast food restaurant near his home, according to court papers.

Christopher Charles Webster, 29, of 703 Cambridge Ave., was charged with delivery, possession with intent to deliver and possession of heroin. He was arraigned on the charges Friday before .

According to court papers, Webster met with an undercover officer from the South Whitehall Police Department working with the Lehigh County Drug Task Force on three separate occasions to sell heroin to him.

  • The first meeting came on June 28 at the at 2165 W. Union Boulevard. Webster provided 50 bundled wax bags containing a tan powder field tested positive for heroin for cash.
  • Similarly, on July 11, the undercover officer and Webster met again at the Burger King and Webster provided another 50 wax bags of heroin, this time packaged in a cigarette box.
  • A third meeting took place on July 26 at the C-Town supermarket at 401 W. Tilghman St. in Allentown. This time, Webster provided the undercover cop with 30 bundled wax bags of heroin.

Following his arraignment, Webster was released on $100,000 unsecured bail.
