Stepfather Accused of Molesting Girl

Charges stem from incidents that allegedly happened at least 7 years ago in Hanover Township.

A former Hanover Township man has been jailed on multiple charges alleging that he molested his stepdaughter on multiple occasions during a five-year period starting in 2000, according to court papers.

Paul A. Mason, 44, now of Quincy, Mass., allegedly committed the indecent acts on his stepdaughter while she was between the ages of 8 and 12 and while they lived at 6065 Airport Road in Hanover Township, Northampton County, according to the arrest warrant filed by Colonial Regional Police. The victim is now 19.

The charges against Mason include two counts each of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and aggravated indecent assault, all felonies. He was also charged with one count each of indecent assault, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children.

He was arraigned today before District Judge James J. Narlesky, who set bail at $75,000.
