Special Needs Student Assaulted on School Bus

Bethlehem police are investigating an assault of a special needs student by two other students that went on for 15 minutes on a school bus en route to in South Bethlehem Tuesday.

The entire incident was captured on the bus’s security system, police said.

According to WFMZ.com, the victim suffered only minor injuries.

The bus driver stopped the bus several times to try to put a halt to the incident, according to The Express-Times.

The two suspected assailants, both minors, who were not identified, have been charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, according to the newspaper, quoting Bethlehem police.
