South Side Man Accused of Threatening Police

Police called to the scene after suspect allegedly slashed neighbor with a knife.

A Bethlehem man threatened to kill three officers when police responded to a disturbance on the 800 block of East Morton Street early Monday morning, according to this report on Lehigh Valley Live.

Gabriel Elias Perez-Valentin, 23, is also accused of slashing a neighbor with a knife during that disturbance. He has not yet been charged in connection to that alleged crime.

Perez-Valentin also allegedly threatened to kill one of the responding officers' families.

Perez-Valentin is charged with making terroristic threats, obstruction of law enforcement, resisting arrest, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned before and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
