Search Warrant Results in Three Drug Arrests

Cocaine, marijuana, xanax and heroin found in South Bethlehem apartment.

Three Bethlehem men were arrested on multiple drug charges after the Bethlehem Police Department’s vice and street crimes units jointly exercised a search warrant at a South Side apartment Friday afternoon.

According to court records, the search was conducted at 1103 E. Fourth St. where police confiscated cocaine, heroin, marijuana and xanax, in addition to scales, packing materials and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Arrested as a result of the search, were Eric J. Hidalgo, 22, and Giovanni A. Echevarria, 19, who both live at the address where the search was conducted. Andre J. Mojica-Fernandez, 21, of 420 Hickory St., who was at the scene, was also taken into custody.

Hidalgo, Echevarria and Mojica-Fernandez were all charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal conspiracy. All three were committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
