A Bethlehem man was jailed Sunday for allegedly burglarizing a house in the city while its residents were at home.
Kevin Mamuzich, 35, of 619 Pawnee St. is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and loitering/prowling.
According to court records, the owners of a home on the 400 block of Montclair Avenue discovered that someone was in their basement at around 2:20 a.m. Sunday.
They called police and flagged down an officer who responded as they were following Mamuzich. Police say Mamuzich took an iPhone, a watch, $15 and an electronic heart meter from the home.
He was arraigned before on-duty District Judge Richard Yetter and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.
