Report: City Man Gets 1-3 Years for Domestic Violence

Johnny Wolford was on parole for beating another woman at time of arrest.

A Bethlehem man was sentenced to one to three years in prison last week for threatening to kill his girlfriend in February, The Morning Call reported.

Johnny Wolford, 46, pleaded guilty to terroristic threats in front of Northampton County Judge Paula Roscioli. At the time of his arrest, police had said he also his 62-year-old girlfriend.

Wolford, who had a previous conviction for hitting a woman, was also ordered by Roscioli to undergo anger management training as part of the sentence, the newspaper reported.
