Conrad’s daughter, Brittney Conrad, told police that her father was angry with birthday Facebook messages that her mother, Michelle Conrad, had been receiving all day and threw her cell phone in the swimming pool, court papers say.

Brittney Conrad said the threats had been going on for most of the day on Thursday and at one point, her father told her mother to leave and that if she didn’t, “there would be consequences.”

When police arrived at the home at a little before 2 a.m. Friday, they found Mr. Conrad in a physical altercation with a Jeffrey Werner, the affidavit says. Conrad was observed kicking Werner in the back after police arrived.

Conrad was charged with terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and harassment.

He was arraigned before night duty District Judge James Narlesky and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail. If he does post bail, one of the conditions will be that he not be allowed to return to the family home on Wood Street.
