Police: Shooting Threatened at Downtown Subway

Allentown man in Subway restaurant on W. Broad Street allegedly threatens to shoot a woman, police say.

 

Bethlehem police say an Allentown man threatened to shoot a woman at a city Subway restaurant last week.

Gregory Lee Mann, 62, of 823 Chew St., is charged with making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.

According to police, Mann was at the Subway at 8 W. Broad St. Friday evening when a woman noticed him acting strangely -- banging on the bathroom door and talking to the walls. At one point, Mann allegedly turned to the woman and said, "I'm gonna shoot ya."

Mann was arraigned before on-duty District Judge Richard Yetter of Wilson and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $1,000 bail.
