Police Seek This Man in Church Burglary

Bethlehem Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection to a January 14 burglary at the Christ Church, United Church of Christ, in the Historic Downtown.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Andre West, 48, who is described as a 6-foot tall, thin black man with bushy grey sideburns that lead into a chinstrap-style beard. West has a pointy nose and a thin face and has been seen frequenting soup kitchens in the area.

West was last seen on January 14 wearing a blue coat with a white stripe across the chest.

Anyone with information about West’s whereabouts are asked to contact Officer Sam Elias and/or the Bethlehem Police Department at 610-865-7187. The information can be kept confidential, police said.
