The incidents that led to Snyder’s arrest occurred on June 30, according to court records.

At a little after 1 p.m., Snyder allegedly drove her car into a Mini Cooper car parked along the 300 block of Washington Street, the arrest warrant said. Witnesses followed Snyder’s car, tracking it to her home on Hamilton Avenue, according to the affidavit.

When police arrived on scene, Snyder was unconscious on a piece of furniture in the unattached garage next to her car, which still had the driver’s side door open and a warm engine, court papers said.

The responding officer checked the home to see if anyone was home and found the boy, described as a toddler, alone with a stained T-shirt, the arrest affidavit says.
